Responsibilities

Hydroid is seeking a Program Manager to manage cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs/projects or subsystems of major programs/projects. Significant responsibilities include:

  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.<img style="float: right;" src="https://hydroid.icims.com/icims2/servlet/icims2?module=AppInert&action=download&id=4464&hashed=-2014595103" alt="Hydroid-Cutrona-0483" width="337" height="225" />
  • Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
  • Participates in the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Manage program schedule - Analyze program critical path and execute corrective action plans as required.
  • Lead Program Risk Management process.
  • Ensure program meets revenue, profit and cash flow expectations.
  • Identify potential new business opportunities that materialize during program execution.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Program Management of US Government contracts.   DOD experience is required. US Navy experience preferred. Formal Program Management Training is desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills, experience managing in a program with Earned Value Management (EVM) and reporting requirements, high level of proficiency with MS Project and other software applications is expected.
