Responsibilities

Support all aspects of contracts from proposal to close-out phase

  • Review solicitations, and contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedure
  •  Provide contractual guidance<img style="float: right;" src="https://hydroid.icims.com/icims2/servlet/icims2?module=AppInert&action=download&id=4464&hashed=-2014595103" alt="Hydroid-Cutrona-0483" width="337" height="225" />
  •  Assist sales in the preparation of responses to proposals, and contract modifications
  •  Draft and negotiate contractual instruments including subcontracts
  • ·Prepare routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal
  •  Support contract review, approval, and execution
  • Support contract change control process
  •  Support contract close out
  • Support the development, preparation, execution and performance of subcontract plans, including small business plans and submit timely reports, as needed
  •  Liaise with purchasing to ensure support and compliance of subcontracting program and ensure clause inclusion and flow-downs
  • Maintain records
  • Assist in the collation, quality control and submission of contract deliverables
  • Review, remark, revise and maintain all related business documents such as; Non-Disclosure, Teaming, Sales, Consulting, Licensing and Master Agreements, and Terms and conditions (internal & customer proposed)
  • Coordinate efforts associated with new legislation, regulation and contract trends for potential impact on business goals and objectives
  • Prepare, organize, monitor and maintain all contract records and files to document contract performance and compliance including but not limited to contract briefs, and CDRL database, schedule and delivery
  • Support the development and implementation of department processes and procedures.
  • Compile data for key performance metrics
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • FAR and DFAR knowledge; experience with multiple contract types, performance-based contracting, and GSA schedules
  • Ability to handle basic contracts with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written skills; ability to communicate internally and externally in a clear, concise and professional manner
  • Thorough, detail oriented, and organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Excellent multitasking abilities; able to handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Initiative, self-motivation and proactive approach to workload
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills
  • Must possess strong PC skills
  • Ability to proactively develop solutions to problems

 

A condition of this position will require the successful Applicant to pass a government security investigation and must subsequently receive authorization to access US Department of Defense Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”) and potentially classified information.
