    Supports our Hydroid team by providing front line support for answering human resources questions and solving performance problems. Assists in the planning, administration and implementation of Hydroid's Human Resources programs in alignment with the strategic plan. Supports key HR functions including; benefits administration, employee relations issues and ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations, including HR technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, unemployment and worker’s compensation.

    • Administer HR policies and programs
    • Provide resolution of employee issues in benefits, recruitment, leave and other HR related duties
    • Provide advice to managers and employees regarding HR programs and guidelines
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
    • Coordinate special projects requiring research, analysis, knowledge gathering and confidentiality on HR related topics, guidelines, practices and data issues
    • Apply knowledge of state and local employment law, standard HR concepts, practices and procedures<img style="float: right;" src="https://hydroid.icims.com/icims2/servlet/icims2?module=AppInert&action=download&id=4464&hashed=-2014595103" alt="Hydroid-Cutrona-0483" width="337" height="225" />
    • Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees
    • Complete special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions
    • Manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports
    • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience and a minimum of eight years of generalist experience.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Broad knowledge of HR regulations and policies.
    • Must be proficient in Performance Management, Maintaining Employee Files, People Skills, Resolving Conflict, Employment Law, Project Management, Office Experience, Reporting Skills, Verbal Communication, Administrative and Writing Skills.
    • The ideal candidate is an individual that can work in a fast paced environment; with a high attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, ability to multi-task and enthusiastic attitude.


    A condition of this position will require the successful Applicant to pass a government security investigation and must subsequently receive authorization to access US Department of Defense Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”) and potentially classified information.
